I would like to create a place for chemistry enthusiasts (and students – which also may be enthusiasts) to discuss the beauty of chemistry and post questions regarding chemistry.

Hey, I have a question… I’m working on conversions…I am certain that I keep transposing things incorrectly…For example, if I want to go from cm to m, do I say 1m eguals 1×10^-2cm, or do I say 1×10^-2m equals 1cm?
You replace the c in cm with x10^-2… so 1×10^-2m equals 1cm
